Oak framed house

In the spring of 2017, the Grouazel sawmill delivered 46 m3 of oak wood to Castle Ring Oak frame in Wales.

After 4 weeks cutting off the 694 oak beams, among them 154 naturally curved slabs dedicated to the realization of braces, and 5 days on site to erect the frame, the project could be released to the end customer to allow further craftsmen to finalize the fitting of this private home.

The green oak beams which have been produced within a couple of weeks by the sawmill according customer's requirement in a mix of QP1 construction grade for the frame and of QPA high grade for the roofing.
Every piece has been tagged with reference, size and grade in order to help the carpenter's job.

By seeing this "recreated oak forest", we can only be impressed with the  cutting and assembling works done by this welsh oak framing company.
