/ Achievement Outdoor layout : Decking & planking - Tour Eiffel Paris (75)

Robinia Planking (false acacia)

The Galiano-Simon agency (75) was looking for a particularly strong and durable timber to cover the court situated around the west pile of the Eiffel tower, which is the visitor’s access to the upper floors.

The architect aimed to use a French timber and choose the French grown wilde Robinia for this project, which is naturally suitable for a class of use 4.

The boards have a section of 34 x 135 mm with a smooth top, but inlaid with an anti-slip resin mix of expoxy/corrindon, which is mandatory for this kind of public open space.

The installation has been made by the company Baudin-Châteauneuf (45).
